• Authentication Data: When you log in using Google Authentication, we collect your email address, display name, and a unique user ID provided by Google. We do not have access to your Google account password.
• App Data: We store your virtual portfolio, $OTK cash balance, and your "OtakuList" selections on our secure Firebase servers.
• Usage Data: We use Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated data on how users interact with the app (e.g., page views, button clicks) to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your personal OtakuRank account.
• To save your virtual trading portfolio and anime lists across devices.
• To maintain the integrity of the live global leaderboard.
• To analyze platform usage and improve the user experience.

3. Third-Party Services

OtakuRank utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google Firebase: Used for secure user authentication and database hosting.
• Google Analytics: Used for anonymous usage tracking.
• AniList API & RAWG API: We query these external APIs to fetch anime, manga, and game data. No personally identifiable information is sent to these APIs.

4. Cookies

The Service uses cookies (and similar technologies like browser local storage) strictly for functional purposes, such as keeping you logged in and caching data to make the app load faster (Progressive Web App functionality). By using the Service, you consent to the use of these functional cookies.

5. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information. Your data is stored on secure Google Firebase servers protected by enterprise-grade security rules. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Deletion & Your Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. If you wish to delete your account, please contact the developer or log out and clear your local application data.
