Notice: Permanent deletion of your account removes all associated profile details, saved OtakuList collections, and virtual $OTK portfolio balances. This action is irreversible.
How to Delete Your Account (2 Methods)
Method 1: Directly Inside the App (Instant)
- Open the OtakuRank app on your Android, Windows, or Web device.
- Ensure you are logged into your account.
- Click your Profile avatar or username at the top right of the navigation bar.
- Select "Delete Account" (marked in red).
- Confirm the prompt. Your user record and all associated Firestore data will be instantly and permanently deleted from our servers.
Method 2: Email Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can request manual deletion by sending an email from your registered account email address:
Requests submitted via email are verified and processed within 24 to 48 hours.
What Data is Deleted?
- Authentication Profile: User ID, email, display name, and avatar image.
- Virtual Portfolio: All virtual stock holdings and $OTK cash balances.
- OtakuList: All categorized anime/manga lists (Watching, Completed, Plan to Watch, Tiers).
- Community Votes: Personal voting history and session records.
Data Retention
OtakuRank does not retain any personal or usage data once an account deletion is executed.
